Announcement

The delegation of Phnom Penh Municipality lead by H.E KEP CHUK TEMA officially visited Hanoi the city of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to follow up the corporation between the two cities.

As the result, the leader of the two cities, Phnom Penh and Hanoi , agreed on the corporation program for the year 2005 – 2006, including:

•  The two parties must improve on the investment, business, tourist and cultural exchange to enhance the relationship and corporation between the resident of the two cities, Phnom Penh-Hanoi.

•  Phnom Phen city sends the technical group to visit Hanoi in order to exchange the experiences on city and land management and construction at the beginning of the year 2006.

•  Hanoi sends the businessmen to Phnom Penh during the 4 th quarter of year 2005 in order to study and discuss the location to construct the Hanoi Trade Fair Center in Phnom Penh .

•  Phnom Penh invites the Hanoi delegation lead by the chairman of Hanoi People Committee to visit Phnom Penh in an appropriate time in 2006.

In addition, delegation paid a courtesy call on H.E PHAN VANKHEI , Prime minister of Socialist Republic of Vietnam and H.E GNVAN PHOUTRONG , Secretary of Hanoi People Committee.

The visit of the delegation of Phnom Penh Municipality complied with the agreement on the relationship and corporation between Phnom Penh and Hanoi which were signed on 1 st of Mach, 2004 at Phnom Penh.
