The Municipality of Phnom Penh held an annual workshop on Sangkat councilors 2005 under the chairmanship of H.E KEP CHUKTEMA – Governor of Phnom Penh, H.E MAN CHHEOUNG – Vice governor of Phnom Penh, Mr. ROS SOKHA – SEILA program senior adviser along with governors and vice governors of districts, facilitation officers..., Sangkat councilors and civil socials. The workshop was held to monitor and evaluate a one-year implementation of good governance at Sangkat level. The workshop was aimed at as the following:

1 Sharing the work experiences to improve the quality and ability to provide and get services in Phnom Penh.
2 Identifying challenge, seeking initiative and proper solution.
3 giving recommendation and commitment toward good governance implementation at local level.
The workshop, today, provides knowledge, work experiences and unity in order to achieve the rectangular strategy introduced by the royal government of Cambodia with Samdech HUN SEN as a Prime Minister, which the good governance is the core strategy.
