• Cooperative Friendship between Phnom Penh and Hanoi

Hanoi delegations, leaded by Dr. HOANG VAN NGHIEN, Mayor of Hanoi city People's Committee ,took an official visit to Phnom Penh from March 01 – 04, 2004. during their staying in Phnom Penh, Hanoi delegations paid a courtesy call to H.E. KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh Municipality, and celebrated a signing ceremony on the agreement on “Cooperative Friendship between Phnom Penh and Hanoi” to strengthen relationship of both cities. Besides, there was a signing ceremony on “Cooperation on Tourism between Hanoi Tourism and Apsara Tour”.

The article of the agreement on Cooperative Friendship between both cities focuses on:

4 Exchanging experiences on planning and city management
4 Organizing ease to entrepreneur for seeking markets and partners.
4 Human Resource Development
4 Developing culture, sport and tourism activities especially exchange information on tourism, training and management.
4 Cooperatiog in other field based on both sides discussion. Hanoi delegations have promised to provide grant to construct road to Sangkat Kmoun in Sen Sok Community through Vietnam Embassy of the Kingdom in Cambodia.
