JICA's mission group leaded by Mr. KATSUTA HOZUMU, team leader, paid courtesy call H.E. KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh Municipality to report about the Project Formulation on the Traffic Improvement in Phnom Penh. The study team will observe
and survey the traffic problem in Phnom Penh especially 4 districts, which are located in the central Phnom Penh to examine the possibility of the technical assistant to the project. The objective of the project is to focus on the transportation problem in the city. Education, enforcement and engineering will be taken action. According to the outcome of the pilot study of the transportation in 2001, the traffic improvement will be cost for roughly 375 million Dollars.
