The exhibition on “Phnom Penh, 10 years in Reconstruction”, in cooperation between the Municipality of Phnom Penh and France Embassy, officially opened and honorary chaired by H.E. PROM SOKHA, Secretary of state – Ministry of Interior and representative of H.E. SAR KHENG, deputy prime minister and co-minister of Ministry of Interior, H.E. KEP CHUK TEMA, Governor of Phnom Penh Municipality, H.E. André-Jean Libourel, Ambassador of France Embassy and others ambassadors to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at Wat Phnom Fine Arts Permanent Exhibition Center. This exhibition, started from 16 – 31 October, 2003, demonstrates the increasing achievement in 10 years reconstruction through the implementation of the Phnom Penh renovation project. The Governor said that this restoration will be an optimistic for Phnom Penh; ten years forward become “the Pearl City in Asia” again.
