H.E MAP SARIN, Vice Governor of Phnom Penh Municipality, accompanied by Mr. Peter Leupreht, Special Representative of UN Secretary General and Dr. Jim Tulloch, UN Resident Coordinator and Chairman of the UN team group on HIV/AIDS, has presided over the International Volunteers Day celebrated by United Nation and United Nation for Volunteers at Wat Phnom. The International Volunteers Day this year is being celebrated to gain support for fighting stigma and discrimination to the people living with HIV/AIDS and their beloved families. After the above said ceremony finished, the demonstration of International Volunteers Day is started from Wat Phnom to Hun Sen Park passing through the Norodom Blvd led by Chay Yam Dance and venerable monks.
