After Pol Pot regime Cadastre in Cambodia was totally destroyed. All cadastre documents were burnt and destroyed. From bare hands, director and officers of Cadastre have worked hard to rebuild the Cadastre, the registration and to issue the land title with manual method. In 1998, IGN France supported technology transfer including providing Cadastre Experts and Equipments for producing autographic and registering real estate. The Royal Government of Cambodia gets the support for the project LMAP Land Management and Administration Project from a loan of the World Bank. IGN France, ROS Registers of Scotland and BEV Austria Federal Office supporting for the development of an Information System for Cadastre Phnom Penh have conducted a workshop on “Application for Cadastral Information System” presided over by H.E. CHIEV KIM HENG, Vice Governor of Municipality of Phnom Penh.
